Code 0101A0 — TIM - Transmission Identification Module — The TIM command manager has received invalid parameters while initiating a command.

1 Carry out ALADIN diagnosis

    Clear event memory

  1. Clear event memory.

    Event memory cleared

    Event memory cleared (Check under ("Reporting > Event Memory > Check mark set")

  2. Possibly test drive

    Should the fault reoccur:

    Upload

  3. Perform an upload with the ALADIN diagnosis software.

  4. Then please contact the VOITH customer service.

2 Replace controller

NOTICE

Damage to the transmission controller due to overvoltage!

  1. Turn the ignition off prior to installation or removal.

  2. Never expose the on-board electrical wiring to higher voltages than 45 V.

  3. Do not touch any contacts to avoid ESD (electrostatic discharging) and soiling

Dismantle/replace the controller and send it to the Voith Customer Service for inspection.

  1. Unplug connectors A, B, C, D (connector secured by "lug", lift "lug")

  2. Press the device backwards (I.) against the springs (1).

  3. List the device out of the rail (2) upwards (II.).

  4. Pull out the device.

3 Removing/installing the control block cover

3.1 Removing the DIWA 5 control block cover

  1. Loosen 20 screws (1) and remove them with their washers (2).

  2. Remove the cover (3).

  3. Remove the seal (4).

Two-piece control block cover

Remove the two-piece control block cover.

  1. Loosen 13 screws (1) and remove them with their washers (2).

  2. Remove the cover (3).

  3. Remove the cover (9).

  4. Remove the seal (8).

  5. Loosen 13 screws (4) and remove them with their washers (5).

  6. Remove the frame (6).

  7. Remove the seal (7).

3.2 Installing the DIWA.5 control block cover

Installing the control block cover

  1. Insert the new seal (4).

    • The seal must be free of grease when you install it.

  2. Screw the control block cover (3) tight using 20 hexagon bolts M8 x 30 - 8.8 (1) and washers B 8.4 (2).

    • Tightening torque 23 Nm.

  1. Loosen 20 bolts (1) and remove them with 20 washers (2).

  2. Remove the control block cover (3).

  3. Remove the seal (4).

3.4 Installing the DIWA.6 control block cover

  1. Insert the new seal (4).

    • The seal must be free of grease when you install it.

  2. Screw the control block cover (3) tight using 20 hexagon bolts M8 x 30 - 8.8 (1) and washers B 8.4 (2).

    • Tightening torque 23 Nm.

4 Replace the IM

    Removing the IM

  1. Remove the control block cover

  2. Pull the cable (1).

  3. Loosen the hexagon socket head bolt (3).

  4. Remove the IM (2) from the transmission housing.

  5. Reinstall the IM in reverse order.

    • Torque 14 Nm (for M6 screw)

5 Carry out ALADIN diagnosis

Procedure

    Clear event memory

  1. Clear event memory.

    Event memory cleared

    Event memory cleared (Check under ("Reporting > Event Memory > Check mark set")

  2. Possibly test drive

    Should the fault reoccur:

    Upload

  3. Perform an upload with the ALADIN diagnosis software.

  4. Then please contact the VOITH customer service.
